The House System at Sri Saradha Memorial Matric Hr. Sec. School is designed to foster teamwork, leadership, healthy competition, and school spirit. Every student and staff member is assigned to one of the four houses, each named after elements from Tamil heritage and culture, symbolizing nature, strength, and unity.
Represents the mountains; stands for determination, resilience, and ambition.
Symbolizes the seashore; reflects adaptability, depth of thought, and clarity.
Represents the forest and peace; symbolizes harmony, growth, and creativity.
Depicts the plains and farmlands; stands for hard work, fertility, and perseverance.
Each house competes in various academic, cultural, and sports events throughout the year. This encourages students to work collaboratively, take pride in their house, and develop leadership skills. House captains, vice-captains, and prefects are elected annually to lead their teams with integrity and commitment.
The House System instills a strong sense of belonging, discipline, and healthy rivalry, preparing students to excel as individuals and as part of a community.
