Admission procedure

At Sri Saradha Memorial Matric Hr. Sec. School, admissions are granted based on merit, eligibility, and compliance with Tamil Nadu state educational regulations. We welcome students from all backgrounds who meet the academic and age criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The student must have passed the qualifying examination from a recognized school affiliated with any State Board, Matric Board, CBSE, or other recognized bodies.
  • Age criteria as prescribed by the State Government will be strictly followed for all classes.

Required Documents for Admission

  • Transfer Certificate (TC) duly signed by the head of the previous institution and countersigned if required.
  • Attested copy of the Birth Certificate (issued by the Municipal Authority).
  • Mark sheet or progress report of the last academic year.
  • Recent passport-size photographs (4 copies).
  • Community certificate (if applicable).
  • Aadhar card copy of the student and parent.
  • Medical fitness certificate (if required by the school).

Admission to Higher Classes (IX, X, XI, XII)

  • Admission to these classes is subject to the rules of the Tamil Nadu State Board and may require prior approval from the educational authorities.
  • Students from outside the state or foreign boards must obtain an Eligibility Certificate before admission.
  • No admissions are entertained after August 31st, unless granted special permission by the competent authority.

Procedure

  • Parents/Guardians must collect the application form from the school office or download it from the school website.
  • Submit the duly filled form along with the necessary documents before the specified deadline.
  • Admission will be confirmed only after verification of documents and a formal interaction with the student (if required).

Important Notes

  • Admission to Class X and XII is not permitted directly unless the student has completed the previous class in a recognized school and satisfies all academic and transfer conditions.
  • The school reserves the right to deny admission if the eligibility criteria are not met or documents are found invalid.
